tiny tartan

I made this as a sample a while back. I've got a proper one to do in tartan and I wanted to practise. It worked out pretty well. A few things I'll change on the proper one like matching the binding up with the check.
This is tiny though! It was made to a pattern for another customer (whose mock-up I'm still waiting on being returned) it's only 18"

By the way, I am so so sorry to hijack your thread but you wouldn't be interested in my old singer 28k treadle...or know of anyone else in Glasgow that might be? I'm not sure I have space for it in my new flat!

Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that your old Singer finds a good home *if* you don't have room for it in your new flat---but I really do hope you can keep it!

Oh... you know I would if I had room. But I've already dismissed (with petted lip) a few treadles on ebay because I couldn't get them in.
I can't think of anyone else offhand.
Can't you make room... sleep under it or something ;)
