good on them for making a stand now.
As for the new season, I've been managing to tape and watch "Heroes", "Bones", "House", "Nip/Tuck" and "Ugly Betty" (and "Scrubs" when I remember that it is still on and remember to tape it. =))
I tried out watching the new "Bionic Woman" but have been sorely disappointed. It just never really found its groove, the fact that they made her 2 years younger and took away her interesting justifiably angry deaf younger sister and replaced her with a whiny, tv-perfect pretty "Dawn" for a younger sister didn't help matters. It is a bad sign when you hope the far more interesting baddie (played by "Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff) kills off the younger sister when she has the chance.
"Heroes" has been a bit "ehh" and uneven in the episodes...though I'm loving the whole "Molly has two daddies"-bit with Matt and Mohinder Suresh. ;)
Tuesday night is fairly solid with "Bones" filling my "X-files" needs, "House" is having a better year than last, and "Nip/Tuck" has been readily rejuvenated by its move to LA.
In the meantime, when the new shows run out, for those of you have Netflix or are near a blockbuster, or have friends with amazing DVD collections, I'd highly recommend checking out "Arrested Development", "Battlestar Galactica", "Deadwood", and "Dexter" for some quality writing, acting, directing.
And yes, I see the irony of recommending shows on DVD for which the writers won't earn more than a few cents off of...hence the importance of the strike.
