I took the car in November for a smog check, which it passed on emission and not due to timing. So because I had to go to a Smog-Only Test Center, I was able to apply to the California Consumer Assistance Program

In between I have to find a car (I've been exploring different auction sites trying to find the ones that get cars off leases and from the government fleets as they seem to be the best deals) and move to Sacramento.
Plus, my computer has been having lots and lots of issues starting up. I've had to try all kinds of different ways of turning it, and laying it this side and that to try to get it to start. Once the letters on the screen start showing up it is find, but otherwise I press the button, it makes the starting sound...then just stops. The motherboard was replaced in October (just 4 days before the end of the warranty) and it is now completely out of warranty. I think I'm in denial that I may have to change the mother board again....
As long as I take it one crisis at a time, I'm okay (I just have to choose which thing I'll be in denial about at any time...)
On a brighter note the sun has been making more and more appearances in the past week. So that helps...a lot!
