Off to sleep...
I made it home tonight while it was still light out, the second night in a row.
Yesterday, I delivered 1 baby and did 1 vaginal laceration repair.
Today, caught no babies, and did 1 repair. However, I managed to get all my paperwork done before rounds and didn't have to spend 1-1 1/2 hour filling out notes. The more efficient I get, the "better" I am as an intern, the more my team can rely on me to work done...and yet, I feel like I did less meaningful work today. It is what I have to work with, but it doesn't seem like the best trade-off.
The 20 minute walk home was lovely. The weather sunny and warm, with lots of people out enjoying the weather, out for dinner or a walk with their kids.
And now I get to enjoy a solid night's sleep since I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow morning.
