Anyone have opinions on digital video cameras that they would care to share

All the film school undergrads have DSLRs, generally of the Cannon variety. The 7D, the 5D, and the like. Image quality is very good, it's nicely portable, plenty of lenses, and people are starting to build shoulder rigs and other equipment for it. I'll be shooting my next film on one.
