There and Back Again

...so much for financial resolutions.

I liked Albany. And Denmark, and Torbay. Gorgeous place. Almost got to fish. And an amazing farmer's market every Saturday. Had to restrain myself from buying a nearly three kilo chicken, as we were not going to be able to cook it. Asparagus season, and heavenly it was!

Pity about the weather. We were hit by a supercell that brought stupid amounts of rain and hail, not to mention very low temperatures - it got to a maximum of 9.4 C at 2.30pm at the local airport yesterday - after several straight hours of hail. Hence the bit about not getting to fish. :?

Just going to list my haul, very shortly.

If it wasn't for the near-dearth of high end food in the area (and Wild Duck was closed for their yearly holiday), I would gladly move down there. Beautiful, cooler climate (never liked summers of >40C maxima), good produce, almost passes the Cappuccino Test and has an airport. As it was, I thought reallyreally hard about it.

ETA T-shirts.
