Because, okay, I had FEELINGS about this season premiere, and it's fairly surprising to me because, well, I didn't have many feelings about the show in general by the time it ended its first season. I didn't even plan on watching this? And then I saw gifs and reactions were good, so I thought, okay. And, my God.

The chemistry between Mike and Harvey seemed freaking EPIC this episode, or maybe it's just that I've forgotten how slashy they were. The teasing back and forth at the beginning, and Harvey using "my own" to describe not only his job but Mike - yeah. It was a fantastic start to the new season.

See, I saw it a LOT in that episode when I struggled during S1, maybe because of the lack of balance, which made me 'meh'-ing at them a lot, as a slash pairing. But in that episode it was beyond expectations, and it was a give and take, and it was exactly what I've been craving, sooooooo I was happyyyyyyyyy

I don't know if you've come across it yet but there's a pretty epic Avengers/Suits crossover where Mike ends up as Tony's assistant instead of at Pearson Hardman. I haven't finished reading it yet but it's brilliant and witty and everyone is absolutely IC. Sidekick by Closer.

As for myself, I was a puddle of fangirly goo on the floor during the entire episode. I was rocking back and forth, babbbling to myself in between shrieks of joy by the end of it. Ve can attest to that. It was AWESOME. ♥

Also, am I a bad person for wanting to kick Jenny in the face? Even more than I want to bitchslap Trevor which is saying something because I want to bitchslap him pretty damned hard.

I loved it! I didn't remember it being as good last season. Pretty much everything you said. I haven't read much fic. I enjoyed the long fandom AU by closer, 5U175, where Harvey and Mike are their canon roles, but, unknown to each other, are also BNFs. :)
