Dad got his alarm installed.  Now, when any outside door opens, there is a loud female robot voice that says, "Front Door Open," or Back Door Open."  It's loud enough he can hear it.  He showed me how to turn it on and off.    The alarm has its's own cell phone to call the alarm company even if land lines are cut.  I'm impressed.  The back door is still broken, but baracaded, and now monitered.  I guess, now he can fix the door and start replacing his stuff.

Tomorrow, I will clean, and then take the kids to the library.  After husband gets home,  I will go clean Dad's kitchen.  Sunday, we go to my Dad's family for Thanksgiving dinner.  I am making 3 pans of enchiladas.  Yes, since we all eat turkey elsewhere, My dad's family usually makes Mexican or Japanese.  Mexican at Thanksgiving means Japanese for Christmas.  Mom won't be back from New Mexico until Sunday night.

My parents managed to excuse us from Mom's family gathering Thursday.  I'm working, but I'm not sure what they said about my husband.  He is now planning on grilling on Thursday.  It might be cold, but he can warm his hands over the coals.  Dad is jealous because he has to go.

Husband's family decided there was no reason to see each other at Thanksgiving.  Husband is thankfull.

alarm, thanksgiving plans, weekend plans
