GOOD NEWS!!!!
My first full day as a receptionist rocked. It was pretty scary watching the woman who trained me at first. It amazes me that 4 lines will light up at exactly the same time. I took over the phones around noon. No problems. I have to look every extention up. and I have to figure out who can answer each kind of question. Everyone asked me if I was replacing the other receptionist. So I think once I show how good I am, I will be invited to stay. That's so cool. The place is in the same city I live in. I went in the cafeteria during lunch. I think Ill eat in my car. I like helping people and making them feel cared for in the waiting room, but they kind of freak me out in a hige group. I have heebie jeebies from the schitzofrinics I have known.
Other good news. My husband was told yesterday that his raise was approved. his FIVE DOLLAR raise!!! That's really unexpected.
I think the kids enjoyed daycare. They played outside until I picked them up.
I ordered the fourth Sookie Stackhouse book, in hard cover with the B&N card that I got from the library, and it was mailed today!
It's so much easier to carry around the feeling of gratitude to the universe when you actually have a few good things come your way.
