(no subject)
I knew that when Time Warner failed to bury my neighbors cables it would eventually screw me. Evidently, when the park guy came through with the riding mower yesterday, it caught thier cables and completely thrashed our distrubution box. I called and complained, but they said that unless someone else called, it would be considered an individual problem and not an outage. Our neighbors weren't home at 10 when I went to bed, so who knows if they came in or not. or if they complained. I had am appointment this afternoon. I left work early, with that as an excuse and the distrabution box was fixed when I got home.
My brother recorded the first 2 episodes of True Blood off my parent's PVR Yesterday, so I got to watch the second episode last night. Apparently my dad watched with my brother. I think we are up to chapter 3 or 4 from the book and it was excellent. I wish Sci-fi had taken this approach with The Dresden Files.
I bought groceries with Mom this week. We are doing the South Beach thing again. Well, I am. I'm not sure how well Mom is doing. I am suffering from carb withdrawl. I awoke with a headache. My thoughts are scattered and I've eaten 3 times and am about to find something else. I made supper last night and Mom made food in the crockpot for tonight, but she floured and fried the meat before she put it in the crockpot. Urrggghh.... I think she missed the point.
