People suck cock for Fabian Brunnstrom, and why? 54 GP, 9-28-37? And the guy gets all this hype as a free agent? I don't get it. YET, people will say that Linus Omark will be "okay" and they question him being able to make it to the NHL when his stats were 55 GP 11-21-32 playing on the second line (compared to Brunnstrom's first line minutes), ending the season as the best, most consistant forward on Lulea... Say what?
Meanwhile, pint-sized Linus Omark (listed generously at 5-foot-9 but seemingly closer to about 5-foot-7) put on a dazzling display of stickhandling and creativity at the WJC. There were several games where the right winger looked more dangerous than team captain Nicklas Bäckström and fearlessly skated into the high traffic areas.
