“You’re serious.”
“Deadly.”
“Why?”
Schneider winces. “Can you just say yes and I’ll explain later?”
Lupe glares. “Schneider… ”
“I will owe you big time. Literally, anything you want, it’s yours.”
“Even if what I want is fifty percent off on next month’s rent?”
“I’m not really supposed to do that.”
“Then no.”
Schneider sighs. “Fine.”
“Yes!” Lupe walks over to him. “You’ve got a girlfriend then, snookums. Mwah.” She kisses him on the cheek, leaving a bright red mark.
