Lol, I try different things sometimes... like different people's POVs. This story is great for that since the chapters don't exactly connect directly to eachother most of the time.

West's entrance was totally random, but I wanted to bring someone else to the scene from Micah's world.

The show never really mindgled their characters too much, which is such a shame. Then again, it would have gotten even more confusing when only the hardcore fans would have recalled who exactly they were.

Oh well, we have fanfiction XD

Hey there! Got your reply to my FFN review and wanted to say that yes, FFN has been screwy on review replies for going on two weeks now.

The word count thing really is tough to handle at times, isn't it? There's a Fire contest entry I haven't read yet, but I can see all the rest of us have been pushing right up against that limit. I've written a few 100-word drabbles in the last couple of weeks and that's ... wow, quite an exercise to cut down an idea into so few words.

Thanks for writing and sharing, again! You did a great job here.

Wow, that was less than 750 words? Cause I feel like I just read an awesome chapter, not a drabble. That was great!

I liked how Micah remembers his parents, and at the end, his thoughts on how they would handle the human fireball. Nice. And of course, I love Sylar stopping him. And the casual way that he, Peter and West fall out of the sky to talk to Micah.

And this is a series? Wonderful! Cant wait to read the next installment. Thanks for posting this!

Haha, actually, this was 750 words exactly. ;) I was amazed how much I was able to write in the end, because 750 feels like such a small number, doesn't it?

Glad you liked this one! I think after all their adventures together in the show, they have to be acting somewhat casually around their abilities. It's hardly shocking to anyone anymore.

Next installment coming soon, I hope. Sent it to my beta already, after all.
