been keeping it up, did pilates today. I've had to take...three days off? at this point, yesterday because I was feeling really sick, another day because work just wouldn't cooperate, and one other day I think? I forget why. Time, maybe?
Still. Been doing this for over three weeks very consistently, I feel pretty good about that.
Had ups and downs. Been stressing out big time over the move, doesn't help. Been fairly good about what I eat, though I still need to give myself smaller portions for meals. One step at a time.
When in transit (and possibly while in Chicago), I don't know how I'll be able to keep up running. Don't think I'll ever feel safe just running in Chicago, it's such a big city. My hope is that A) we'll be in an apartment complex that will have a gym or at least some treadmills, or B) I'll find a job to make enough that I can join a gym (not looking forward to getting onto a mass transit being super sweaty and disgusting). My hope is more on the apartment complex treadmills. In any case, I think that if I can keep up running for the next few weeks before the move, even if all I can end up doing is pilates every other day, that's still an excellent workout and should still help me lose weight, even if I miss out on the cardio benefit. I'm getting stronger all the time, so I can challenge myself with harder workouts. I'm even planning on converting some of the pilates workouts to mp3 so I can put it on my ipod and workout when I'm in transit for the summer.
So yeah, figured I should update.
