Knitting can be depressing

I have at least 4 projects on the needles. Size 5 needles, and 6-8 stitches an inch... Just dragging those heels along...

So I decided to try out a roll brim hat. You know, just to see if I would like it.

One hat. One day. I really miss size 9 needles and 4.5 stitches an inch. Oh, and it was all stockinette in the round. Instead of cabling forever. Unfortunately, I do need to frog the hat, but it does make me feel better.

The hat needs to be a wee bit snugger, say casting on 90 stitches instead of 100, and I need to knit closer to 7 inches before I start decreasing. Perhaps that's all I'll need...

Hah, yeah right.
