Sean called me again this morning. He sounded better than he did last night. He said there was a "general feeling of malaise" in the medical squadron. I told him not to give in, that we'd beat this thing. I told him that I was praying for the will of God, and for his health. I'm not the only one. I reassured him that we were all rooting for him.
He said he definitely wanted to get married when he got home. I said, "Okay, but we've got to finish classes first." It's still a big step, and a little scary for both of us. I can't know what he's going through right now. He's probably feeling a little vulnerable. Still, I love him nonetheless, and we'll get married when the time is right.
I knew he was feeling better because he asked about the hurricane :)
His asthma screening is Monday, 5:45 a.m. I'm praying that it will show no signs of asthma, that this recent 'recurrence' is just a side-effect of stress.
Thanks, everyone for your prayers and positive thoughts.
