I'm so tired. @_@ I was up at 6am and I was already at Katipunan at 8am to print my resume. I met up with Alicia there, and the two of us met up with Mimi (welcome back!!! and thanks for the R-18 chocolates! HAHA.) at McDo Ayala MRT. I had an interview at 1pm, and Ali had one at 2pm, so the two of us decided to make use of this Makati trip to submit resumes to ad agencies. Mimi had just come back from Taiwan and hasn't been able to apply yet, so she came along, too.
Because of all the walking and the hordes of people at the train stations, we were running late and were only able to go to our first stop around 11. After we finished with the 2nd one, we were hungry already. -_- Thankfully there was a Jollibee nearby, but dear God I am never going back there EVER AGAINNNN! First, they gave me the wrong order. I wanted Yum with Cheese, they gave Mimi (who ordered for me) Regular Yum. We went to complain and they gave me the right burger, and then the manager suddenly stops us again and says "Ay hindi, regular lang pala yung naka-punch." He was gonna get my burger and I didn't wanna give it, so he checks the receipt again and what was punched was Yum with Cheese after all. Pffft. And then I was lined up outside the Ladies CR, which was in front of the area where they threw leftovers and cleaned up the utensils. This female employee drops an almost-full glass of water (THANK GOD IT WAS WATER), and it splashes all over my legs and the legs of the other girls waiting in line. She doesn't even say sorry!!! And then as I was coming out of the CR, there was another female employee who kept pushing her way through and nudging me aside even though the space was so cramped. Imagine how people are at MRT Stations during rush hour. Yeah, she was like that. JEEZ, PEOPLE. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GIVING CUSTOMERS THE PLEASANT, HASSLE-FREE EXPERIENCE THAT THEY NEED AND DESERVE? WAY TO GO, JOLLIBEE.
ANYWAY, back to my Makati day trip. After we ate, I went straight to Makati Sky Plaza. The interview lasted... 10 minutes? Hahaha. It wasn't really an interview. I feel bad, because it's the kind of industry I would loooove to get into (online gaming. Yeah, I'm a geek.) and it's rare that you get to compromise work and play, but the salary is just too low. =( Considering I live in Marikina, I will not survive with that salary. =((
Soooo after my interview Mimi and I resumed our resume-dropping (Ali went to her interview). We came across an ad of Krispy Kreme and were tempted to eat there. Haha. BUTI PA ANG KRISPY KREME, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The minute you enter you're greeted with smiling employees and the oh-so-addicting smell of fresh doughnuts. After we finished our meal, one of the employees (Rhiann. I remember her name!) even came to us and asked if we needed anything more. She even chit-chatted with us a bit, asking about what we were doing in Makati, how we liked their store and the doughnuts, etc. Jollibee, you need to work on training your employees!!!
Anyway, and then we kept walking and walking and walking and walking and we got lost. Hahaha. Thankfully we soon found our way and ended up in Greenbelt 1. Around 4pm, tired and drained and with a few new blisters on my feet, we decided to call it a day. I was supposed to meet up with Ali at Gateway, but she would have had to stay until 8pm, and I knew my body would not be able to take being out of the house til 8 considering how tired I was. So there. We'll just watch a movie and chill on Wednesday. :)
Tomorrow... nothing on my agenda! Yay! I can rest and watch dramas on the computer all day! =) =) =)
