Ironman + Isshin = Happy Day!

May 14, 2008 05:30

I had my 2nd interview with KFC yesterday morning. It lasted around 30 minutes, and it was the first time I was interviewed by 2 people. Scary @_@ Thankfully, they were pretty nice. On my way up, I rain into a coursemate of mine in the elevator. Apparently, she was also interviewed for the same position. They said they'd call within the week/next week for another interview with the VP of marketing if I make the cut. Eep.

After that, I passed by my grandma's house and went home. Then Yano sent a message about watching Ironman later that day. I invited Ali to come along, so the three of us plus Yano's friend, Carlo, went to Powerplant to watch Ironman. It was goooooooood. Now I understand why people like it so much and why they keep insisting that Robert Downey Jr. is perfect for the role everytime I tell them that he looks too old. He's hawt >_<

After watching the movie, we went to this Japanese restaurant called Isshin that Yano recommended. I never say no to Japanese food, so of course I was game (plus I was pretty hungry. hehe). All I can say is, thank you Yano for taking us there!!!!!!!! Ang saraaaaaaaaaaaappppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the ramen!!!! Pwede na nga pang-labada yung bowl! Hahahaha! (James, Ali and I already have a list of "hidden treasures" we can go to our next food trip! Haha.)

We went road-tripping a bit after eating. In fairness Yano, I'm getting used to your driving. Hahaha. We dropped Ali home, then went back to my house. They hung out for a bit with Tanya and my kuya, then left around 11:30. (Ang galing mo. 5pm the day before ka pa gising, di ba? I can't do that @_@ )

Tomorrow, I'm gonna seriously start job-hunting! I can't postpone this any longer. -_- Goodbye, bumming days!
