Zeus pulled him away after Zelos had broken the foolish Erote, leading him to gods only knew where. Zelos wasn't really afraid of what was going to happen, he was just...uneasy with what might happen.

"I am sorry, M'lord." he said, summoning a tall hard-ball cocktail, heavy on the vodka. Zelos, if nothing else, knew his Master and Mistress well enough to smooth them over...

There was silence following that...deathly silence, allowing him to count the individual beats of his measure heart beat. Why couldn't it have been Hera who'd stumbled into the grisly scene. Hera he knew well, too well at times. Zeus was far more complicated, and life serveing him was more like playing a gaint chess game...and waiting for the inevitable checkmate.

But he didn't dare speak again, and followed obediently...
