Continued from hereSilent were his shared thoughts with Athena: “Even fate can not always foresee potential danger to herself until the hour is already nigh. Don’t fret Wisdom, you’re aware that there is always an answer; only through the passing of time are some found ( Read more... )

Nephy stood from her seat across Thanatos' table, crossed over to where he stood (patting Wimberton on the head as she did), and laced her fingers into his. That same familiar energy between them arched and snapped across her hand, but she supressed the corresponding shiver. It was inappropriate. Someone was sick. And Thanatos was gracious enough to be taking her into his homeland so that he could see to them.

It seemed odd to Nephthys that Death would be called on to tend to a sick person who was already in the Underworld. However, she accepted it as she accepted many Greek things. They were foreign to her, and she could do nothing other than quietly listen and watch. Anything else would be downright ill-mannered. Nephy was anything but ill-mannered.

"..I suppose...that was quite unwise of me."

Next he watched her delicate soft fingers slide against and slip through the slots of space that separated his. The starburst of sensations shared at that touch was something he physically showed no sign of feeling even though he had. Oh had he ( ... )

She drew in breath quietly, somewhat startled at the shifting. It had not been gentle or gradual, but something faster, something stronger. She wasn't entirely sure that she didn't like it, but it was still quite surprising to her. She usually faded in and out, and although it was fast, it never had felt like that. Slowly, a smile came to her mouth. It must be another part of her Greek counterpart, and that meant that it was to be cherished ( ... )
