I can't believe it took me this long to catch up on the first episode of S2 Torchwood. Silly real life.
Blowfish?! Heh. Okay this whole first scene is stilted but I'm just so damned happy to see them all I. DON'T. CARE.

Even without the bleach blond hair, I cannot see James Marsters and not think Spike!!1! Damn. That boy can swing his hips like nobody's business.

I'd forgotten how much I like the character of Owen. A lot. He's annoying and crass and twitchy and whiny and self-righteous and I'm completely intrigued by him. I give the Lion's Share of the credit to the actor for making him at all accessible and multi-dimensional. I keep wishing he had more lines, more screen time, more opportunities to snark and be bitchy. YAY OWEN!

I'm worried that, since I don't watch Doctor Who, I'm not going to get everything that's happening in the next episode with Martha. *concernedface* Oh well. As long as I get Jack taking Ianto out on a date (and then perhaps a quickie in the SUV), I'll be satisfied. I'm easy that way.
I also finally took the kids to see Enchanted when they had their day off of school on Monday. Not quite as delightful as I'd been led to believe (McDreamy's character is an ass), but still very fun. I love the fact that my two sons can be All Boy and into sports and computer games and whatnot, but also be unabashedly enthusiastic about going to see a pretty pink fairytale movie. Gender roles be damned!!
Also, is there anything cuter in the world than the cuteness that is James Marsden?? I think NOT. ♥
Ha. Look! I worked the two nameswitch Jameses into the same post. Who else has to hesitate a half-second every time they say one of those guys' names, just to make sure you have the right one? *raises hand*
