Had an interesting past four days. On Friday I had a job interview in Huntingdon, with some people who kindly let me know which bus to take. When I got on the bus... this happened.

Me: Uh, I'm supposed to get off at a place called 'The Hollow'.

Bus Driver: ........

Me: Uhh, Hartford? It's off the main road... in Huntingdon?

BD: Never heard of it.

Me: No? It was on the rout online...

BD: All I know is I'm going to the bus station.

Me: Oh, okay... I'm sure I can find it myself...

And so we were off, out into the thick fog of the fens lead by a bud driver who didn't know where he was going. Well, he knew where he was going, but he didn't know how to get there apparently. What a knob. Also I didn't get a job. Huzzah!

Anyway, on Saturday we went to a Burns Night, and ate haggis with mashed potatoes and neets in the company of people from all over the world--France, Italy, Scotland (of course), Canada, some place I don't know where that one guy was from, and the Planet Rachelmania. On Sunday Mordayre came over (out of rehab and in a dry house) to talk about her upcoming course in bee-keeping and watch reviews and an old favourite... THE INVISIBLE MAN! Ah, I remember the invisible man from back when I first started this journal. You're CRAZY to know about it, aren't you? Good old Claude Rains!

Monday we were at the monstrosity film festival where we watched Murders in the Rue Morgue, in which Bela Lugosi tries to prove the theory of evolution by injecting the blood of a gorilla named Erik into a stupid French woman named Camille while praying in front of a crucified prostitute, and a man in a gorilla suit carries a large doll over some rooftops. I'm guessing he meddled in things that man should leave alone...

Then I had a dream monday night, that I had got the job at the housing management company and had to carry half a baked potato to all of the houses. Then i was working at an amusement park, and took the day off to visit that playground on Sturton Street, only to find that a crowd of old schoolmates from Parkside were there and had formed an anti-Rachel league to stop me from going there because for some strange reason they all hated me. Funnily enough, my most excellent good friends Hong Miao and Qiu Xiang were part of it--possibly due to my forming an anti-Chinese league in year nine. Though since they were both part of it, they can't really complain.

Dolorelamia is right now ranked... 1036. It peaked a while back at 895 then dropped to the 1200's again. Finished my anon meme fic and then promptly started another even longer one, because I is clever. Oh, well, off to watch videos online, pleasant dreams boys and girls...
