nother random poetry assignment....

Yeah, we were supposed to write about our Utopia. I dunno, didnt like that idea, so i kind of didnt do that...read on if you want.

My Utopia

Holy shit, im writing about something that wont exist
About something that isnt but something that i wish
Could be possible but its improbable, some of the things on my list
Nice calm beach weather, shit i grew up there
But always nice? That is just not fair, no clouds there?
That would be lying, even if yer mind is trying, but beware
of the falsehoods our minds provide us, when using figurative rhymin
Using those similies, abusing those metaphors
You damn poets are always like "More! More! More!"
Now this aint hatin, im merely just statin maybe 'poetry' should'nt be taken
So litterally, its all just so silly, look at the greats, really
just read them, do you think they imagined that this would happen
That kids would take whole classes about them, and teachers would grade them
On stuff they first did, while spilling out their lid, they probably thought this shit
Would be offensive, to someone or other, they didnt even think it
Could really come to this, making some kid pissed, hes gotta write this
poetry assignment, its not like im dying, im just sittin here rymin
And hopefully, all you will see, that poetry, has no need
For rules, structure, stupid similies
Its like a flower, almost like no power, i feel like im being showered
By men like towers, who like rise from their grave, rising from the page
Laughin at me, filled like a ballon with rage, Im stuck in this cage
That they placed me in, not on purpose, not like all of them
Wanted my end, of poetry class, to bring my GPA down fast
But here it is, i can hear it, crash boom smash
The crizity crash, the bizity boom, the smizity smash, its coming to soon
You wont get this, so dont even try, if I said I was a poet, that's a lie
My utopia? Why? It aint gonna happen, with poetry i can try to get you to imagine
But thats not real, my Utopia is trapped in, my head, so ima stick to rappin.
