It's a love story, baby just say yes.

Today is Ben and my three-year anniversary.  Wow, I can't even believe it's been that long, but at the same time, I can't believe it's only been three years.  I say that because the three years have flown by, but we spend so much time together, that it feels like it's been longer than that.  It has definitely been, overall, three amazing years.  We've had our ups and our downs, but in the end everything has worked out, and our relationship has just gotten stronger and stronger by the day.  He just knows how to make me laugh, and he's always been there for me 100%.  It has always been the little things he does that mean the world to me.  I could not imagine spending three years with someone else.  Hopefully there are many more years to come with that.

We are not doing anything special today, since we are both piss poor.  But Friday, he is going to take me out to eat for our anniversary.  All I care about is being able to spend time with him.  Going to school has made it easy to see him as much as I want, especially since we don't see each other that much during the summer.  Although, I have no idea what is happening for this summer.  It is our senior year, and Ben has to start looking for an apartment down in MA so that he can go to law school.  Now, I am not sure if he will be moving to MA in the summer, or moving down right before the start of law school.  Either way, I hope he figures out a living situation that he loves, and hopefully it will be close so it won't be hard to see him.

Speaking of law school, I have been starting to look at graduate schools.  I think I have made my decision and am going to go for my MST (or MBA/MST, if the school offers it).  However, I am still undecided about where I'm going, when I'm starting classes, and how many classes I am going to take at a time.  All I do know is I'm going part-time so that I can work full-time, and I'm going to apply to Suffolk, Northeastern, and Bentley, and possibly some others (BC, BU, etc).  I would like to be able to start in the summer and take about 2-3 courses, but since I have plans to go to DisneyWorld in the end of May/beginning of June, I have a feeling that's going to conflict with the start of summer classes.  I may have to rethink about the dates that we go to Disney (thank God I haven't booked anything yet).  Unfortunately, the looking at graduate schools and programs is about the only thing I have done to prepare myself for graduate school.  I need to take the GMATs, get all my letters of recommendation, fill out the application, write the essays required, and send out my transcript/resume/recommendation letters.  Things are going to get really busy for me really soon.

So last Monday, January 26, I called into work because I had a massive migraine.  I stayed in bed till about 1:30PM till the migraine was gone.  When I got up, I somehow caused my neck to crack in 3 different places, which caused the most excruciating pain in my neck, which sent it down my entire body.  I started sweating and shaking, and I felt like I couldn't breathe.  I was in so much pain that I could not move my neck at all, so I had to get in touch with Benny and ask him to leave work to bring me to the doctors/hospital.  Luckily, I was able to get an appointment right after with my doctor, who is right down the street from my school.  To make a long story short, I got an x-ray and found out I didn't do anything to the bones in my neck, which was a relief.  However, whatever I did to my neck caused the muscles in my neck to lock my vertebrae up, so that the natural curve in my neck was actually stick straight.  So that was why I was in so much pain.  I was put on two different medications, which really helped with the pain in my neck.  Now, I am mostly recovered - I have the mobility back and there is no more pain, however I can still feel the tension and pressure from the injury.

Been to two Bruins games since I last wrote - January 27th against the Washington Capitals (win 3-2 in OT), January 29th against the New Jersey Devils (loss 4-3 in OT).  The Caps game was intense, with the OT goal scored by Krecji, and the #1 star of the game being my boy Timmy Thomas.  The New Jersey game was decent in the 1st, horrible in the 2nd (with only 5 shots on goal by the B's), and in the 3rd the Bruins came back into the game with the lead 3-2, but with a late goal by the Devils caused the OT and the final goal scored by Langenbrunner.  This was the 3rd time I bought Devils tickets to see my favorite goalie (besides Thomas) Martin Brodeur play, and the 3rd time that has been unsuccessful.  The first time, last year, there was a huge snowstorm, and we couldn't get into the game.  So I bought tickets for a later Bruins-Devils game, and that day they decide to rest Brodeur and play Weekes.  This year, I bought Devils tickets to see Brodeur, and he is injured so he didn't play.  I have the worst luck.

I do have one confession to make.  I watched the Superbowl this year, and actually tried to watch and understand the game.  And for once, I finally understood the whole game, and actually enjoyed watching it, not just because it was the Superbowl, but I enjoyed the actual football game.  I wouldn't go so far to say that I am now a fan of football, but I would say that I might start watching more games.  But nothing will ever take the place of my hockey and my Red Sox. :)

Well, I think it's time to go.  Been typing too much and need to give my eyes a rest from staring at this computer screen.
