Rumor has it that this year the number of houseguests is 16, instead of the usual 14. Evidence can be found in this promo.
This is backed up by a man named James (not of BB fame) who claims to be a CBS Employee, who has been hinting about 16 houseguests being in the house -- with possibly two of them coming in later.

We may just have the name of one of our BB9 contestants. Derek Erikstrup.
If that last name sounds familiar it's because he is the brother of former BB8 contestant Dustin. This info has been reported by a number of sites, and, in this year of dirty secrets, seems plausible. So, what do you guys think?

Dick Donato did an interview...in rather poor taste might I admit...over here. Unless you're a Dick fan I recommend avoiding it, especially if you like Jen, Zach, Eric or Dustin (those four got picked on BIG TIME).

Sources say -- and I hate regret having to write this -- that Janelle (BB6, BB7) will play a role this year. No one knows what she'll be doing, though it's been widely speculated that she will be doing a special on past showmances. This was semi-confirmed due to Jessica Hughbanks mentioning that they attempted to shoot a sequence with her and boyfriend Eric Stein -- but we're unable to due to short notice and long-distance travel that would've been required.

BB9 houseguests will be announced on CBS' Early Show on February 6th, between the hours of 7AM and 9AM ET.
