Thank You Nick for letting us stay at your place and celebrate your 21st!!! ...and for us having a place to stay while drunk.
this weekend was the most fun ive had in a long, long time. mostly im just doing my normal thing working and school work...this was the first weekend in a long time ive taken off work to actually do something fun instead of staying at home or watching movies or wishing i was working. i had a great time.
Thank you to David Oguns very much for driving me to this place to have such a good time.
what happened: Nick's 21st birthday celebration, a lot of drinking (compared to what i usually do) and some vomitting.
when: 10/28 to the 29th
why: its a birthday celebration
how: drinking and eating at a very nice restaurant called Calhouns
who: friends.
i had some drinks...perhaps a little too much.
heres what i remember and wrote down (in no particular order):
5 shots of tequilla
2 gin and tonics (1 had more than usual gin)
1 mojito
1/2 of a woowoo? vodka, mango juice and something...
2.5 shots of gin
and some champagne which i gulped instead of sipped
first thing that happened was the dinner at Calhouns. it was a nice place that had steak, sandwhiches, and alcohol. i got a burger and extra fries and plenty of conversation with Pin and James. it was there that that i had the 1/2 of a woowoo, cause pin ordered it and left for the surprise. When we were done we went back to nick's place and the first thing Yida did was let the champagne thaw out because he put it in the freezer when we got there. then he poured it and everyone drank some of that.
for the celebration everyone took a shot of something, either captain morgan's parrot bay (mango) or tequilla. as shots were being passed around i somehow ended up with 2. victor got a video and everyone took the shot. there was cheering invovled and some yelling that someone needed a chaser after just 1 shot. after a few minutes of that happening i asked pin for a couple more shots cause i wanted to see if i could beat that shirt that says: One Tequilla, Two Tequilla, Three Tequilla, FLOOR. pin thankfully poured me three shots worth, then got everyone chanting so i downed it..luckily no gagging or anything.
i dont remember blacking out or making a complete fool of myself, i do remember the games we played and the good times that were had: like taboo ..that was quite fun with drunk people trying to read small words that they cant say so even more interesting words come out. thankfully we lost and had to take shots of gin. yida couldnt quite down his though because of an earlier event that had participated in...smoking...and he tried a double so i finished it off, which is why the number of shots is weird. then we played some pictionary...which kinda got ruined on Vinci's turn because i did a little bit of spilling a florescent marker on my pants...yida got a nice picture of it trying to pass it of as man juice. kick of the picture is that my pants aren't open. then the video games busted out where i watched a lot of Smash Brothers be played and Naruto and played a little myself. while some people at the party dressed up and went to a dance party.
somewhere between those events i had the mojito, and gin & tonics. all i know is that after my last gin and tonic (which i added more gin than usual) i was definitely drunk. i started doing push ups to get my system flowing and processing so i could try and avoid vomitting. after working out i did drink a lot of water in sips. the plan worked out for a good 30 minutes, then i tried to grab a quick nap...which worked for a while but not too long (i looked passed out) cause of my stomach so i went to bathroom and well, i know what happened.
after that i felt great, kinda stupid for doing that, but great. i helped people set up for sleep. then i got some of that myself to sound of Jon and Vinci smashing eachother.
we woke up and i had this weird taste in my mouth so i took a shot of captain morgan's parrot bay...nobody really saw because they were all asleep. i felt awake, got dressed, played a little smash brothers, and then everyone woke up.
this was a fantastic weekend. Thank you again Nick for the party and congratulations.
