First off, I want to thank all of you for your brilliant bad roommate haiku. You should all scroll back and read them! You're a very clever bunch, and that helped me immensely.
Second, I call local attention to this announcement from the Village Voice:
Lucky Williamsburg. The hipsters are getting their own arepas outpost with the opening of Caracas Brooklyn (291 Grand Street, Brooklyn). The restaurant will feature the same tasty stuffed cornmeal patties and Venezuelan fare as the East Village original, with the added bonus of a full bar and seating for 75.
Apparently they opened Monday(?). I recommend the De Pabellon.
That's just down the street from me and
melanina's new favorite hang out. Grand Street, I think I have a crush on you.
