The chords of you(from Higurashi) with WORLD END gives it a more depressing edge than the original. Actually, you can probably do any song with BGAD and make it sound kinda sad. It's amazing, how Higurashi can still spook me even though I figured out most of the mysteries already.

Nekogoroshi-hen gives me the creeps. The only thing that keeps my sanity is niconico-er's interesting comments on the 'ana'(literally hole, but if you add a letter to it...), which is one of the main focus of the episode.

Is it me or has Higurashi lost its creepiness in the second season? At least the opening does. Instead of the creepy melody and lyrics we have in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni(as in, the song), we know have a nice sounding song that's not creepy at all.
