Watched HBP today.

They burnt the burrow wtf.

Beginning was a bridge getting destroyed....I thought this was supposed to serve as the opening to the 7th movie?

Dursleys did not appear at all. Instead, Dumbledore appeared to Harry at a train station(using the famous "After the train passes I'm suddenly here/not here" technique)

Harry didn't really say anything to persuade Slughorn. Dumbledore merely claimed that Slughorn would come to Hogwarts in hopes of collecting Harry. Also, dragon blood gave Slughorn away, not the dark mark.

Luna found Harry on the train. And healed his nose.

A lot more focus on Harry stalking Draco and the vanishing cabinet. I swear they reused that scene with Draco pulling down the covers that hid the cabinet at least 3 times.

Ginny, what?! ....are they trying to shove Harry/Ginny into our faces now? She's suddenly turned into this person that bosses Harry around(not exactly bossing as in "I tell you to do this and if you don't heads will roll.", but she did snatch his potions book quite forcefully and told him in a no-nonsense tone to get rid of it after Draco got Sectumsempra'd). And she accompanies Harry to hide the book in the Room of Requirements...and kisses him there. She also starts randomly feeding him cakes in the Burrow, and their breakup at the end of book 6 is cancelled. Heck, Hermione even mentions that Ron is okay with it at the end.(a bit KY imo, they were talking about Dumbledore's death before, but I suppose Hermione is trying to get his mind off that) I'm not really sure what the directors are getting at here by adding so many extra scenes that weren't in the book. Doesn't help that I always thought the Harry/Ginny in book 6 came a bit out of nowhere....at that point, my only memories of Ginny were from book 2, so it was a bit surprising to see her take a fairly major role.

The burrow burning and Bellatrix chase scene. It would be a nice addition if not for the fact Ginny couldn't be the only one willing to chase after Harry right away? (to be fair, Lupin and Mr. Weasley caught up, and I just don't like H/G)

HP6 is slightly creepier than the movies before, I almost thought I was watching the trailer for a horror movie when I saw the Katie scene.

Ron was, as always, priceless. I love the Romilda Vane part. His antics were so fun to watch. He has always been the awkward face guy, hasn't he? Felix!Harry was lovely as well.

Fenrir Greyback was kuuki. He appeared for a few scenes, made some scary faces and did not do much in general. Bellatrix was probably the most active Death Eater in the movie.(Not complaining. I love her so much...except for the fact that she killed Sirius. She's just too crazy. Like Uryuu Minene from Mirai Nikki, another one of my favorite characters.)

I love Snape's cloak. Heck, I love the guy in general.
