I've been studying for finals all day and it's actually made me feel better.

Who would have thought that the secret to getting rid of my inner emotional turmoil was but to engulf myself in readings on The Bell Curve and writings on argumentative devices.

Who would have thought.

and my head falls like it is becoming literally detached from my body.

falling. wanting to float, but falling off instead.

detached. distant.

I don't blame it.

finals suck

so do stomachaches and panic attacks and overall neurotic tendencies

... and I'm scared about Tuesday.

this is so lame. why do I do this to myself? I must get off on it somewhere, deep down, because my usual otherwise hedonistic, self-fulfilling self would not tolerate something so ultimately un-enjoyable.

I have to tell a lie today. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it, and it's the only way, really.

Thanks to my professor, I can list 5-6 ethical theories that would support why it is in fact "good" and "moral" to do so.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, makes college worth while.
