Almost Halloween!!

Damn, it's been a while since I've updated!  We've been crazy busy, and loving life, though we've spent more time sick than we'd like :/  We went to an awesome Vampires vs Werewolves party last weekend!  and I was taught about as much hand-to-hand combat techniques as is possible to learn in a couple of hours, after drinking a bottle of wine and ( Read more... )

Have you heard of "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin? It's a really well-loved series of novels that starts with "A Game of Thrones."

If you're in need of something to read, give it a try. Though they look intimidatingly long, Martin's novels are worth the read.

My DVR is standard, sucky Comcast Cable that doesn't let you upload or anything.

Girlfriend uses torrents to download the shows she misses while over in Italy, and they are up about five minutes after the show airs. I'll find out where she gets them from and let you know either here or via email (just let me know what your address is).

Watching your favorite shows on the computer isn't always as enjoyable as watching them on TV (my TV screen is much larger than my monitor), but at least you'll get to see it.

Definitely invest in DVR. Around here it's $5 extra per month. SO WORTH IT. I can never go back to life without it. ;)
