Rock it, Sistahs!
So, we had our first derby bout...it was in Wall, NJ--down the shore, for those of you not in the know. and we ROCKED!!!! so fucking hard. The first period, anyway ;p I think I was lead jammer in every jam I was in in the first period! I scored 16 points in one jam! I AM UBER JAMMER!!!! along with Kamikaze and Bitty Boom Boom, of course :) I love my girls! My team rocks! Rock, rock, rock! Ok, so the second half didn't go quite as well as the first, but we managed to hold on to it and won, 99-91. We had been up by 31 points in the first half. And I only made two really dumb blonde mistakes, one at the very beginning, one at the end...

Oh yeah, and we took a mini-vacation up to NH the other weekend, had a good time, though the camping didn't go quite as planned. I only jumped off one cliff, and only dumped Scott into the river while kayaking once ;) that part of the river was warmer, not snowmelt, so it was pretty ok. We stayed in an absolutely beautiful bed-and-breakfast called the Wilderness Inn in North Woodstock that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area. Mmmmm, four-poster canopy bed...
