Merry Holiday, Everyone!
I've been reading everyone's holiday experiences, good and bad, and just wanted to share as well and wish everyone a great Christmas season and--really important--a great fantastic New Year! As for me, I got... nothing. Nada. Zilch. But I must elaborate. Our family decided long ago that only the kids (and I have just two nieces) would get gifts. The nieces got Uggs and Sony PSP respectively from me. We realized we couldn't give each other the material things we craved (but didn't really need), so we were better off enjoying the kids getting the material things they craved (but DEFINITELY didn't need). I recommend this approach to everyone. It makes the holidays about family and EATING!! The important things!!
