So let us sleep outside tonight....
I bought a tent!!! That means I AM getting back to camping. I'm going to Quetico this summer. And I'm going on at LEAST one overnight hike at sleeping giant. possibly two. And car camping too.
Isn't it beautiful?? It's a 3-person which, really, is just nice and roomy for 2 people. 3 adults would be QUITE cozy. But the 2 person tents are QUITE cozy with 2. So I wanted a bit more room. AND it's less than 7lbs. Good for hiking. Roomy for camping. AND it's Marmot so it's awesome. apparently they choose their colours according to a psychology study done at Berkely or something on colours that make people the most happy. So if you're bogged down and stuck in your tent for 4 days, you don't want to kill each other. The person who told me this said that pink was actually the #1 colour... so Marmot went with #2. haha!
It DOES make it nice and cheery inside!
next on the list is a good (big) pack. At least 60L, hopefully for $180 or less.
