If any of you guys had dates for Valentine's I hope you had a great day! Even if you are single, I believe that you can still celebrate it and have a good time by yourself, or surround yourself with friends and family that mean a lot to you.
My Valentine's was spent with the majority of my day being at work, which was extremely busy of course. Before I got ready for work I went on to Reddit where I mainly now use for the Game Grumps sub-reddit. It's a pretty nice place filled with awesome people who like Game Grumps, and the boys themselves also have reddit pages where they view and occasionally chat on there.
So somebody made a thread, and it was essentially them suggesting the idea to make Valentine's cards for Danny since he's single and it would be a nice gesture. It was initially set up for just the fans who were girls to send him cards, but a few guys sent theirs in as well. I figured that there was no harm in attempting to make one and that it would be pretty fun. So I terribly made one in Photoshop (my PS skills were not present for the making of that card, let me just say).
And so, today I go on the sub-reddit to find a message from Danny himself. It was a pretty short message, but still, it was so lovely. He just said "Thanks for your really nice v-day card. It made me feel really great! Best wishes. - danny". I'm still wondering if he sent the other 14 people who participated a message, or if he just sent one to me. I haven't seen anybody make any sort of post on reddit or tumblr saying that they got one from him. I feel like at least like one person would make some sort of "wow, Danny sent me a message thanking me for his card!" post, y'know?
So at the moment I'm left to think that I was the only one he sent a private message to. My card was literally just a picture of myself from a few months ago, blowing a kiss (i figured it would be appropriate for Valentine's. Plus at the time of doing this I was already in my work clothes so I didn't feel like changing my appearance. You know how it is. So I just snagged that photo of me. It seemed like I wasn't the only one who took old photos and made a card out of it, so it worked out". Then next to it I had a little blurb of text that said "Happy Valentine's Day, Danny! xo"
Yeah, that was completely unexpected. But so lovely. I sent him a little reply message back and i'm not expecting him to reply at all, as to not get my hopes up but mostly to be practical in this situation. Wouldn't that be absolutely adorable of him to carry on conversation, though? Aw. But yeah, even if he did send out a similar message to the others it was still a sweet thing to do. It made my day!
EDIT: Also, Danny did post a comment on the thread so that everyone would see that he got the cards. So i was just thinking, why would he bother to write a comment for the whole of the thread to see where those who participated can read his comment...and then go ahead to write out 16 individual messages to everyone that participated personally thanking them? To me that would be essentially doing the same thing, you know? He could have done it that way, but to me it would be counter-productive. Thus making me believe that I was indeed the only person he sent a private message to. Which then leads me to the conclusion that he might be interested in me in some way? Am I overthinking this? I guess we'll just have to see if he sends me a reply message back because then i'd be fairly confident saying that he wanted to personally talk to me and that maybe my card really peaked his interest.
