Mulchiness
Bleargh. I feel so gross. I really need a shower. I haven't showered yet today. And then I walked the dog in the 97-degree heat. And then Thor sprayed mulch all over me when he did his post-pooping instinctively-covering-up-the-smell-of-the-poop moonwalk dance move. Eew.
So I have 11 pages in my first Topic Guide for MUN on "Stigma and Discrimination Against Persons Living with HIV/AIDS." This one's due on Monday at 10PM, and then I have to start my second one on "HIV/AIDS and Intellectual Property Rights." Luckily that was one of the topics the year I was a delegate on UNAIDS; I still have the background guide with annotated bibliography. ;-)
I'm IMing with Pam and she actually just said, "I have to go the beach." She HAS to go to the beach? Dammit, Pam.
My sisters and I went to Chevron's "Take Your Kid to Work Day" yesterday. It was pretty ok, minus the fact that I was the oldest person there. The explanations/tours would have been more interesting if they weren't designed for 8-year-olds. However, I got to try my hand at welding, which was pretty damn cool and REALLY difficult. I also learned how to use a fire extinguisher, which may come in handy some day.
So Pam's dream post has inspired me. I also had a really weird dream last night. Pam and I were in a movie together!! It was a sequel to the movie "Stealth," only there were two female fighter pilots and one male one. Pam and I were the two girl pilots. =) Ok, so I guess that's not that weird, but it was pretty awesome.
Guess what? A week from right now I'll be in Pleasanton, CA, giving my sexy boyfriend a big old hug!!! So excited (woah)....
Ok, I guess that's it for now. On to the shower.
