SUMMER OF SLOANE by Erin L.Schneider
After Sloane learns that her boyfriend and bff slept with each other -- and her bff is now pregnant -- Sloane embarks on her annual summer trip to Hawaii to grieve the loss of those relationships and hopefully start anew if she can learn to forgive. The Hawaiian party scene and opulent settings make this YA romance a great summer beach read. Sloane's life does make guys seem a lot like dirtbags, but she learns to look beyond appearances, and the reader then too is reminded to always have an open mind instead of jumping to conclusions and judgment.
