I was lucky enough to have a few days before I make my leave of Japan. Some of my friends were told that they were leaving in 24 hours, one friend was told she was leaving that evening! In my last moments in Japan I had a bucket list of sorts, and I'm proud to say I got most of it done.

Well, It is official. As of last night, I am coming home. My flight isn't until Wednesday day, so I have roughly four days to get SOMETHING done in Japan. Last minute shopping, and travel.

Last night after talking to my family, another aftershock hit us. You've all probably heard by now, a prefecture near Tokyo was hit was a 6.2 earthquake, which, compared to a 9.0 isn't all that bad, but still has the ability to cause trouble and destruction. So our trip to Tokyo for Springbreak has been offically cancelled! It was just the wrong time. I don't want to spend my Springbreak waiting and worrying over earthquake and power outages. With the threat of more aftershocks coming (and hitting Tokyo again or Osaka) followed by the threat of the Power plants, there has been a lot of series talk around here.
