SPOLIERS!!!!!!!!

The very last shot in the film and the little bit after the credits completely negates the entire integrity (or what little it had) of the picture. How can any death or cure be emotionally resonant when it they can just come back to life or regain their powers?

Speaking of emotionally resonant deaths, what the fuck happened to cyclops? He fucking died off screen?!?! I rekon it's because he went with Singer to do Superman Returns so fox said to kill him for betraying their loyalties. hahaha.

Yeah they just had too many people to be able to spend any amount of time developing them and actually given the CHARACTERS with emotional beats or any kind of arc at all. They tried to make a phoenix movie and a cure movie together and consequentially both were rushed and underdeveloped. Not only that but they don't let loose the phoenix in all her glory and they they go and KILL her so as to make sure that there can NEVER be a film in this series that can tell that story properly and THAT really sucks the most.

I saw it again last night. That fight between pyro and iceman... You said you were hanging out for their 'fight' I felt so bad knowing you would go there to see them hold out there hands at each other for about 20 seconds and then iceman headbut him... HEADBUT?! mmm, greatest fight ever. Hopefully they will be more important characters in later films if there are any.

Like I said, the first time I saw it with Joel and the credits started rolling I was so shattered I was literally holding back tears. I share your pain Doms, really I do.

And what's with all those 'pawn' mutants, the lower class ones. It seem you either have to be a punk/emo or homeless to be one. Me and michael were making up crap level one mutant powers on the way home. Some of the ones I remember was the power to make people sneaze or a perfect sense of direction. We should make some films with THAT calibre of superpower. It would be fantastic.

yeah i also was angry and confused about the punk mutants. and pyro was the crappest teacher's pet mutant in the existence of all mutants. i would have preferred jubilee. and THAT's saying something cos she was crap. and if rogue got 'cured' why did she come back to the school? why didn't she just go home? there were just so many things with NO POINT. sky high was a better super hero movie.
