Coming Clean

Last night I got called into work. At first I was slightly bummed because my day was just going well (and that's something new) and now I had to go to work. To my surprise though, work didn't turn out so bad. I was assigned one of the biggest areas and I finished it all on time, and even had time to do some extra stuff.

I was working right next to this short, old Italian lady named Maria. She has this really thick Italian accent and is only about 4'7". Meaning, she's almost a midget! Heh, okay that was mean, she's actually really awesome.

Moving on, today I had to take my sister to her saturday school, then drop her off at her volleyball game. Afterwards I went home to clean. and I have managed to clean the whole entire upstairs of the house to the point of my own satisfaction. Then I figured it was time to clean my car, so I went ahead and gave it a quick wash then cleaned out the interior. I had a whole garbage bag full of trash and it took me a while to vaccum up all the leaves, grass and dirt. However, my car is clean now. I also changed my shifter knob from the aftermarket silver one to the stock one I had in my old car. Amazingly it still smells like my old car. Either way, I find shifting much easier now and the shifter knob fits perfectly. It looks a lot better too. It's more clean and classy I guess.

Besides that, my brother decided to have some fun and he wired my old car stereo up to our spare car battery along with the amps and the subwoofer. I finally got my Papa Roach mix back too. It was stuck in that stereo since the crash, heh. Anyway, during the crash the face plate hookup lost a screw so now it's kind of crooked when it opens up. I was thinking of taking it to an audio store to see if they can fix it (which they should be able to since it's only a screw) and I was considering of putting that stereo into my car. I mean, I like the Panasonic one I have right now, but I always liked the one i used to have. Furthermore, my brother and I were talking about putting the sound system in one of our cars. So far it looks like it would be mine since I already have all the wiring and his is pure stock. Only time wil tell.

I noticed that the more I personalize Midnight my way the more attached I become. My brother and I talked about cars today and he told me to keep a lookout for a good Integra GSR, perferably pure stock, but we can't be that picky now, can we? I've found a few so far but they're currently out of my budget range even if I sold Midnight. The one i want is going for $12,000 and is in Georgia. I think they have Integras just about everywhere else but here. Oh well, I'll find the perfect one eventually. Though what I really want is a crotchrocket. A black 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R.

I came to the conclusion that I should start saving money. Heh, well that was a no-brainer. It's slightly hard though, considering I'm always paying bills and maintenance for my car, at least it's not a BMW. But I've also been working more since I'm apparently the new favorite-choice-substitute since I get my job done well. So I should be bringing in more. I'm also thinking of getting a different job and quitting EB Games. Mainly because I don't like it there and I barely make enough to feed my Starbucks addiction, let alone supporting myself and my car.

Anyway, tomorrow I'm planning to spend more quality time with Midnight and most likely work more on cleaning my room. I came to the conclusion that I need it all done before December (Christmas break) because that's what I like to consider my hybernation period.

Sinfully Yours,
~Sin
