(no subject)
so today was the san juan. it was neat. there were loads of people. it's random that filipino people are so skinny but it seemed like no one wore a bikini but me. weird. but yeah.. we swam and stuff. i met a whole bunch of family that i never knew before. and i met some of my little nieces and nephews. they liked me quickly and i became their little den mother and had to take them swimming like every hour. i met another little baby cousin, lance. he's uber cute. at first he was all shy, you know how like babies are at first. and then i started playing with him and then that was it. he wouldn't let me put him down. before we left it started raining.. my aunt said the san juan feast wasn't complete without it raining. so we swam in the rain. it was niiiice. i think everybody in their life should do that at least once. then we came to the house. and all of the family was over. the house was all stuffy so my manong jag just took me around town to get some fresh air. then we get back.. more mingling some card games with my younger cousin. and then my other manong, manong dax took me around town. and we saw two guys fighting right in front of us. insane. apparently holidays like this bring out many drunks, especially just wandering the streets. more driving took us here to the internet cafe. he's playing some game. that takes forever. i was just gonna check my e-mail. lol. it's okay, he's paying. lmao!
it's weird. i was sitting atop the stairs looking over the dining room. it felt weird to realize that every single person was a relative. it was a nice feeling. like a million gelvorias. i had never realized there were so many.
