i'm eating runny, lukewarm oatmeal.
so it's been raining for the past two days, which is good, but all of the roads are flooded which causes mad traffic. people here can't drive to begin with and throw rain into the equation and it's chaos. i can't do laundry becuase it's raining either. my clothes won't dry and they'll get that rained-on feel, which i hate. this afternoon i went to the gym, like i always do, and dear God, it was soooo humid in there. no A/C ever. then on the way back, i took my normal route but because of the rain, traffic was effin crazy! i felt like i was back in atlanta. so what normally takes 10 minutes took almost 45 today. and the car i'm driving, since it's an 89 landrover old POS, the clutch takes an act of congress to press down so after sitting in traffic my leg (keep in mind i just went to the gym) was near shaking. thennnn my car stalled out! this stupid guy pulled out in front me and blah blah blah, i wasn't paying attention and my car died. so yeah people were honking at me. THEN i finally get home to find that the power STILL isn't on. i think i mentioned before that we have power rationing so my power only comes on at night. yeah, that gets real old real fast. so i'm starving and i don't have a fridge, oven, or a stove. it's like camping, but not as fun. a person can only eat so much peanut butter and jelly. so i go downstairs to get some hot water they normally keep for tea the next day and bring it up here to make some instant oatmeal i bought today. WELL the water isn't hot at all. that thermos sucks ass. i try anyways and since i'ts not hot enough the oatmeal looks like i barfed something up. but i'm starving so i'm eating it anyways.
