Work was quite eventful last night. Three new clients arrived, none of which are very pleasing to look at right now. (I'll be able to remedy that, of course.)
The first one to arrive was a two-year-old boy. He was hit by a semi-truck yesterday, and needless to say, his body is in shreds. One of his hands is missing, and his face will certainly take a bit of stitching to make it slightly resemble what it had been before. His parents are devastated, as they saw the accident happen. His father - Louis, I believe his name was - came in yesterday; I'm quite sure he's in shock, judging by the way he didn't seem to be completely there.
The other was a young girl whose scalp had been ripped off while driving in a go-cart. It wasn't a clean break, as she had fallen out of the cart itself and been dragged along. Her bare skull slammed into a rock, killing her instantly. She won't be too difficult to "repair", so to speak. Her family wants an open casket, which means we'll have to use a wig. Most of her hair was torn out, after all.
The last client is by far the strangest. I'm not sure what happened to him, and neither is anyone else, not even the people that brought him in. Apparently, he was out hunting, and as he went to shoot, his gun exploded. The trigger was driven back into his eye and traveled through to his brain. It was enough to kill him, not the mention that the rest of the shrapnel managed to tear off most of his face. I can't imagine what would cause a gun to shatter with such force; your guess is as good as mine. He had the most peculiar white hair, even though he was young. Mid-thirties or forties, perhaps.
It will undoubtedly be a busy week. Such a shame, as there were a few things I wanted to do.
(By the way, Leon, I will be needing my credit card back eventually.)
{ooc: If any of you can guess who the first and third clients are and what books they're from, I will love you forever~. (Hint: Both books are by the same author!)}
