[from the moment his third death ended, Charles has had more than enough on his plate - far more than he can properly handle. between finding Diva droned again, losing Vietnam a second time and receiving a regain he could definitely do without, his mood has become more than just foul. even Solomon hadn't made it through this round of droning, which is as unsettling as it is annoying. there's nothing he can do for his pent-up anger and fear, so he avoids going outside for a while save at night, preferring to spend the daylight hours with the phone in his room, pacing and seething and wondering why he's still here when everyone around him is leaving-

but Mayfield certainly won't wait for him to snap out of it, and he can't afford to lose to this city. that aside, being depressed over such things for much longer would be sickeningly human, and he's far above that, isn't he? it's with this in mind that he finally picks up the phone, intent on sorting out as many things as possible before the end of the day, starting with a call he had put off long enough.]

PHONE (filtered to Saya);

I need to speak with you.

PHONE (public);

Can anyone name the owner of the tractor cattle in the park? [it'd be polite to ask them before snatching a large quantity, right? and he'll need a large quantity, which brings him to his second question:] -And is anyone aware of a place that sells meat in bulk, butcher shop aside?

ACTION;
A) anyone walking by 767 Bunker Street will hear the sound of chains rattling from the backyard. go on, take a peek! it's probably an adorable puppy, bored to death on the other side of the fence and just waiting for someone to come play with it! ... or it's a giant drooling hellbeast with its face pressed against the gate. this is what you get for walking on his lawn, whippersnappers.

B) since his new regain has been cooped up in the backyard for days while he sulked in the house, he's finally taking it on a walk in the hopes that it'll shut up, as its constant hypersonic screeching is starting to give him a headache. things are going well! that is, until it catches the scent of a particularly tasty drone and immediately zips off in that direction. anyone nearby might want to watch out, it is a very clumsy droolbeast and Charles is in no great hurry to catch it.]
