[hello Mayfield, have another babby (though he doesn't look much younger than usual) wandering around the city wearing way too many jackets. those who know Charles may notice that he's in an eerily good mood even with the freezing weather, and anyone out and about can find him:

[ Standing right next to him. Her nose is pressing the glass. ]

Their selection really doesn't change, does it? Chocolate, strawberry, I'm bored with all those flavors now! And they don't even have melon bread.

I want a croissant, though. [ still peering into the window ] What does Charles want?

[ ahaha he called her "miss"! what is this. it's not helping his case, because she thinks that's adorable, not to mention weird. she's not going to look at him just yet. ]

C- [ and then she turns around ] Did you hit your head or something? [ there's something else that's different... ] What's with the hair?

It's long, but it's okay. I dunno. But it couldn't have grown have grown overnight.

[shrug] Whatever. You wanna buy something? [knocks on the glass twice] I'm gonna treat you today because you're being extra cute.

That's why it's called treating someone, silly. I usually make people pay me back with interest, you know. [ wait, what's... ] The Collège? Mayfield has a college?
