protest Caesar Chavez day!!
So today Tara and i ditched school to work on our term paper for english. We thought oh yay we'll have all day and get so much done. Just go back to CSUN and finish were we left off on sunday..... well Caesar Chavez had other plans!
So we get off campus and almost hit the stupid old yard duity cause she almost walked infront of my car to stop us so i swerved around her!!! lol!! stupid old lady! i hate her!!! Anyways, now that i've had my ageist moment for the night i'll continue....
So we're driving out to CSUN and thinking oh its such a nice day this'll be really fun! we get to CSUN and realize that we need a parking permit to park but we cant figure out how to do it! So we call hott co-worker boy who sounded erritated cause he was at the gym (gasp i called him at the gym oh no im going to hell!) but he explained to us that you get them in the boxes in the front. so descriptive! But being the smart girls we are we figured it out and went to the entrance of another parking lot and found this evil yellow box that eats your money, and talks to you in this barbie like sweet voice.
It says "please insert your money" so we do its 4 dollars and when we get on dollar 3 eat jams and eats our dollar!!!! dam machine!! we should of known then the day would be usless! well almost.... So we hit coin return and the thing repeats "please insert your money" so being smart like we are we used coins this time! hahahaha!! we had won ! Barbie box said "please take your ticket." so we took it and gave her another quick punch in the buttons.
When we finally park we begin to walk towards the Library and i notice that its kinda deserted and Tara and i dont take much notice of it. When we get to the library we realize that its closed! Its closed for fucking Caesar Chavez day. those bastards!!!
Tara looks at me and says "who the hell is Caesar Chavez and why does he get a "day"?"
i remembered somthing about him in american history. We had to have Lynz varify that it was true... i guess he gave immagrants work rights or somthing in Moorpark. But so we call Mike in UCLA and he says that those library's are closed too, and we figured seeing as Chavez was from Moorpark they'd be closed too, so to make a long story ....a lil shorter then it could've been.... we ended up in UCSB for like 4 hours working. I was worth i supose we got alot done, and i got totally hit on by this hott college boy!!! ahhh i was blushing like a lil girl! twas sooo embarrassing!
but so anyways now we're going to have to do all our research at UCSB but thats ok we'll make a day of it...says Tara. GO to the beach and such!
Oh yes work might want to fire me when they see me sexy orange hair!!! lol
