I have heaps to write about and don't know where to start. Highlights instead, I think.
~
fuzzy_ben is back from Sydney. This makes me most happy. He brought me back a cute wee wombat - plush, not real - and some more of my long-time favourite 'going out to score' perfume (
Hypnotic Poison). Lovely husband! Apparently he coped quite well with his first time overseas, although he was so busy with the training he didn't get much time to be touristy, other than taking a ferry around the harbour on the last day.
~ I went to the
Erotica Expo on Friday afternoon with Firecracker and
tracyathene, joined later by Sparky (we also saw
moonspirit43 and
radiofishlipsand
ekmahal and
filmgeeknz, which was lovely). I was there for six hours, and had a marvellous time! Initially we just walked around the entire thing, looking at all the stands, trying to decide what things we wanted to buy, entering competitions and shooing away icky hitters-upon. We watched some jelly wrestling, chatted to the folks on the BDSM stands, and generally had a good time. In the end I spent nearly $300 ($200 of which I'd budgeted for ...) and now have some lovely new toys to play with. Might try and remember to do a Sex Filter post about them all :)
~ Work continues to go very well, and I continue to think it's the best job ever. I'm now regularly working just over 30 hours a week.
~ Yesterday Firecracker gave me a beautiful bracelet she had made for me - I have only taken it off to sleep since, and I have received a lot of comments on it at work today. I don't normally wear bracelets, but this is gorgeous (my colours - amythyst, emerald and silver) and a really good fit. I shall try and remember to take a photograph of it.
~ My poly life continues to get more and more complex! This is a great thing (IMO) but it's making time management and communication all rather challenging. Currently there's my husband, my girlfriend, a potential new Dom, and (eeeee!) a good friend that I've had a crush on for ages. That's (count 'em!) four people and relationships to juggle. And, of course, they all have their own primaries and secondaries to juggle, so the mathematical complexities increase ...
Whups - gotta go. More later.
