The things you learn
Took the dog up to the playground this week. Keeneye and Daisy were loose, so I let him run a little. Keeneye's human Joe was chatting with Simon (Daisy's) and they ended up mentioning that Tom wasn't around. Tom owns Bo who is Santini's nemesis. I was always a bit bummed out that I couldn't chat up Tom (nice looking guy) because Tini was trying to kill Bo. Turns out that Tom isn't around because he is in jail. Apparently Santini has done me a favor.
So I was cruising around online and discovered the guy I went out with a couple of times who actually already had a girlfriend has also done me a favor. He suggested that since his girlfriend got upset when I sent him a housewarming present that we should not maintain any sort of friendship. Of course here it is not 3 months later and he is active on a dating website. I wonder if he tells those women that he has a girlfriend?
I'm also happy to report that my neighbor is not dead in her house. I sort of stopped worrying when her packages were being picked up, but I'm not the only one who noticed she was mia. The neighbors on the other side finally called the police to check on her. They went into the house (through a second story window!) and said she was not in there. That's a relief. It's still clear her car hasn't moved in over 2 months, so the police have contacted her place of employment. Since it was friday evening we won't have any answer until next week, but hopefully we'll know something.
