Actually overall I must say there are a lot of positives ... It started by me paying some bills, so now the bank account is absolutely empty.  One of those was I decided to pay for a years prescription charges in advance ... thus saving money, but the £104 was not a nice amount to spend ( Read more... )

There are always bills to pay, aren't there? Still finalising bills from Bude, and although I'm in theory, at least, resting I went to the local bank to pay some bills this afternoon.

Getting back on track after Christmas andd New Year means bills to pay - so a walk to the Bank was today's urgent task!  It makes me smile that the Bookies is next to the bank ... we have 2 other banks in the town, one is directly behind where I'm standing and the other is just off picture on the left.
