I Need To Be A Good Girl
I keep putting off housework, but I really ought to be a good girl and do some before I head back into work.
I have never been a great believer in "normal" people having servants ... but then I think of housework, and suddenly they seem a good idea ... after all they are taking me away from LJ, icon-making, etc, etc!!
It's another cold bright day here - so that means it will be again cold at work - I stand near the main entrance, which means if there is a slight breeze it seems to blow straight towards the desk!!
Tomorrow I am also working, but rather than an afternoon /evening, I am doing the whole day, so won't bother switching on the computer when I get back home ... so
9. On this day in 1969, the first trial flight of Concorde, the supersonic jetliner, took place in Bristol, England. Have you, or anyone you know, been on Concorde?
I haven't, and the only person I know who has is one of the volunteers I work with. He was a chief steward for British Airways for many years (and obviously a steward before that). However he preferred to work on regular flights ... we actually talked about it a couple of months ago.
10. Has anything recently made you laugh out loud?
Over Christmas when Tim & Claire came for a visit we were chatting about Mum & Dad and previous Christmases, and the memories made us all laugh a lot.
